To ensure a deep and transformative experience, we welcome participants who have some experience with meditation, self-inquiry, or personal development. In the serene nature of Ananda Forest, we guide you through Tantric practices, Kundalini yoga for the heart, silent meditations, and heart-centered sharing circles. Using the talking stick, we create space for deep listening and authentic expression.

Guided by Renate Heiss, an experienced psychologist, yoga teacher & yoga psychotherapist, and Wouter den Dulk, energy counselor & healer, this retreat blends Eastern wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques. Inspired by the teachings of Sufism, Tantra, and Kundalini Yoga, as well as The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak, we will journey into the heart’s wisdom through movement, meditation, and self-inquiry.

Kundalini Yoga

Our retreat offers daily Kundalini Yoga sessions designed to awaken your inner energy and promote a deep sense of self-love and acceptance. Through the dynamic practices of Kundalini Yoga, you’ll experience enhanced self-awareness, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to your authentic self.
 


Tantra and Love
 
“Tantra is the art of recognizing yourself in the other. It is a path to deep inner connection, using presence, breath, and conscious touch to awaken the heart. Through tantra, we cultivate love, awareness, and a deeper relationship with ourselves and others.”
 
The exercises we do at the retreat are easy to do and do not require experience with yoga or any other technique. There will not be any sexuality involved, all the exercises are about connecting with your inner self, with love from the heart.

The heart is full of love, but it is not always easy to reach. Traveling to the heart is often hard work, which needs perseverance and trust. Love might sound sweet and soft to a lot of people, but it holds the biggest power. The shell around that power can be the hardest thing to deal with. Let yourself be guided by great techniques, nature, the people around you and the teachers. They will all provide what is needed for you to take steps on this journey.


Meet Your Hosts

Renate Heiss
Renate is a psychologist, yoga teacher, and yoga psychotherapist with extensive experience in guiding individuals and groups through deep personal transformation. With a background inpsychotherapy, emotional healing, and mindfulness-based practices, she combines Western psychology with Eastern wisdom to create holistic and impactful experiences. Her approach is heart-centered, compassionate, and empowering, allowing each participant to feel truly seen and supported.

Wouter den Dulk
Wouter is an energy counselor and healer, specializing in energetic alignment, trauma release, and holistic well-being. With a deep understanding of energy work and meditation, he helps individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, overcome emotional blockages, and cultivate inner peace. His teachings integrate body awareness, breathwork, and spiritual insight, guiding participants toward profound self-discovery.

Together, Renate and Wouter create a safe, nurturing, and transformative space where you can fully embrace yourself and your journey.
